At first, this book made me slightly angry. The beginning literally could be straight out of The Chronicles of Narnia. It’s starts with two children who go to stay with their slightly crazy Uncle, and they figure out a way to get out of their world and into another. After I got over the slight desecration to the Chronicles of Narnia, I recognized that this book gives a interesting spin on Bible stories.

Peter and Mary are staying with their Uncle who previously worked in my archaeological digs across the world. He brought many interesting artifacts home and stores them in his library. Peter and Mary mess with some of his things in his library and find themselves going back in time to the time of Creation. Journey with them back to the beginning of time and allow this story to make the Biblical story of Creation come alive for you.
