Everyday, Kofi wishes for a bike. He dreams of riding a brand-new, shiny, red bike. He consistently thinks of ways to earn money to buy his bike. Day after day, each of schemes for earning money does not go as planned. Each time, his parents encourage Kofi to try to be content with the small things that he has instead of wishing for more things. Following Kofi on his journey of contentment helped me remember to be thankful for the things that I have. It a perfect story to help our very privileged students remember to be contented.
