The main character of this book is Doogie, a boy who loves basketball, but dislikes Math. One day, he goes into a sporting goods store to buy a basketball, but he gives the clerk the wrong amount of money. He is so embarrassed by this Math mistake, that he rushes outside. While sitting on the curb, he meets Tenacious Ten. Tenacious Ten comes from Numeropolis, and she helps Doogie figure out how to work decimals and powers of 10. An innovative way to help children work through decimals and powers of ten.
