Author: Deborah Heiligmann

Picture Book

This is a picture book biography of Paul Erdos, a famous mathematician. This book mostly focuses on Paul’s childhood and how he delighted in numbers and difficult equations. While Paul Erdos is famous for his Math, but this book also shares some things he wasn’t good at like buttering his bread. He learned to butter his bread and other typical things, but he continued throughout his life to think that Math is more important than anything else. This book shares his passion for math in a way that makes every reader excited about Math.

Would highly recommend this book! In fact, I read this book on the first day of Math class every year, and my students love the book! Teaching children concepts with picture books is just about the favorite part of my job, and I’m so glad this book has helped me teach Math while encouraging them to find a passion for learning Math.
