This book features the childhood of Albert Einstein. It focuses on Mr. Einstein’s trouble childhood and his difficulties with speech and social relationships. The book seeks to open a window in Mr. Einstein’s childhood to allow the reader to get to know Mr. Einstein on a new level. This book also seeks to comfort readers who are experiencing similar struggles to Mr. Einstein’s. It encourages us all to look at the challenges in our life as stepping stones that lead us to a better self. The language and sentence structure in the book is stilted and does not flow well for read alouds. For this reason, I would recommend other books with similar content like One Beam of Light.
