"Ragweed" is a well written, gripping story to read. It follows Ragweed as he leaves the country and moves into the city. Unfortunately, life in the city is lived in a club scene, complete with dyed hair, jewelry, dancing, a bar, and rock and roll music. There is also the animal version of violence as the mice and cats battle against each other. While I would not object strongly to my child reading this book, it is not recommended for inclusion in a Christian school library.
