"Ragweed" is a well written, gripping story to read. It follows Ragweed as he leaves the country and moves into the city. Unfortunately, life in the city is lived in a club scene, complete with dyed hair, jewelry, dancing, a bar, and rock and roll music.
This book is about a boy who moves with his family from St. Louis to a rural farm in Oklahoma. Soon after they move, a round brown puppy shows up at their farm. The puppy is starving and in desperate need of food and love.
