The heartwarming prairie story of a dog and his master. This dog came to this family. Mama, Papa, Lily and the boy all called the dog different names. The boy who was the listener’s Great-grandfather called the dog Three Names. Three names faithfully went with the children every day on their journey to school. Then Three Names would sit at the boy’s feet during school. This goes on until school is over. Three Names is sad that school is over, but the boy assures him that it will start again soon. A great way to learn about school in the prairie when our great-grandfathers were young boys!
