"Until Her Flight Was Called" tells the story of the life and work of Michelle Kropf. Michelle was raised in a Catholic home but eventually became friends with conservative Mennonite people and joined their church. During her life, she experienced the blessing of God while in nursing school and Paraguay. Michelle was instrumental in starting a clinic in Paraguay where she treated many different ailments and delivered hundreds of babies. This book is a mixture of writing about her life and actual excerpts from her letters to family and friends. While it may not be the best-written story ever, many of her experiences are extremely fascinating, and older readers may recognize names of people they know from Pennsylvania. Keep in mind that Michelle worked in a clinic and occasionally was involved in treating major injuries and illnesses that weren't always particularly attractive. For those interested in the medical field, mission work, and Paraguay this will be an interesting story to read
