Bit of an odd bird or rather an odd book in this case. This is a mystery series written about two friends, Lady Ada Byron and Mary Shelly. Lady Ada Byron made amazing math advances and contributed to computer science. Mary Shelly wrote the book, Frankenstein. While this book takes liberties in the time frame, it is an interesting concept and plays into a wonderful fantasy story. I love this fantasy because I know who Lady Ada Byron and Mary Shelly have been. However, I’m not sure that most children would make the connection.

In this story, Lady Ada and Mary decide that they are going to start a detective agency. Soon they have a new client who is missing her special necklace right before her wedding. Unfortunately, her ladies’ maid has confessed to stealing it. Can Lady Ada and Mary find the necklace and save the wedding?
