Picture book

The book is about Brian. Brian is an invisible boy. Not many people notice him or are interested in the things that he does. Most of the time, he spends time by himself drawing until the new boy joined class. The rest of the kids laughed at the new boy’s lunch, but Brian drew him a picture to help him feel better. Then the next day, the new boy choose Brian to be in his group for a group project. Can Brian become more than an invisible boy?

Sometimes children have difficulty expressing what they are feeling. Well actually, I think we all have that problem sometimes, but as a child it is more pronounced. That is why I like to use picture books to help my students build an understanding of emotions. This book is just absolutely amazing! A definite must read. This book also serves as a reminder to teachers too. Don’t let those quiet, good children go unnoticed.
