Bullying. A tough subject, but Trudy Ludwig handles it with skill and precision. This book is about a boy, D.J., who has a friend that says mean things, but he always says he is “just kidding.” This book really offers children good tips on how to handle bullying in a good way. It also makes kids aware of how hurtful words can be even if we are “just kidding.” I think this book should be every library! Sadly, even conservative schools deal with bullying issues.
