This is definitely a series worth investigating. Each book discusses the life of a famous person from history. They are simply written, well illustrated, easy to read, and packed full of facts from cover to cover. As with other series that are compiled by various authors and illustrators, you will find that some books are better illustrated and written than others. Grade 2 and up

Marie Curie - Based on the life of the famous scientist, this book is also packed full of facts. Personally, I feel there are a few too many facts about her relationship with a married man. Otherwise, the book was a fascinating read.
