Title: Four Angels

Author: Velina Showalter

Illustrator: Shirley Myers

“Four corners to by my bead, Four angels ‘round my head; One to watch, two to pray, One to keep all fear away.” Grandma Fannie learned this rhyme as a small girl. As a girl, she feared going to bed all by herself in her new big bed, so her mother taught her this rhyme. She keeps saying this rhyme even through her adulthood. Can this rhyme remind her to trust God even in dangerous situations?
