    As usual, the illustrations in this book are absolutely marvelous! The colors are soft and the portrayal of the characters is detailed and gorgeous. The storyline is rather different from the other Kevin Henkes books that I’ve read. This one doesn’t have much of a storyline, and the characters are much more laid back, also most less endearing than others. However, this is still a nice book to read if you find it at the public library.
