            Wendell comes to stay at Sophie’s house for the weekend. Sophie is not happy. Wendell likes to decide what they play and the characters. Once they played bakery and Wendell was the baker, but Sophie was the sweet roll. Sophie cannot wait for Wendell to go home. The next day did not go better. Neither did the next. Who knew that Wendell could make such a mess? Can Sophie and Wendell become friends on the last day?

            Kevin Henkes has a delightful way of teaching children good ways to deal with problems. This book is no exception. It is a wonderful resource when teaching children about emotions and emotional intelligence.
