Johan and Jeannette Lukasse followed the call of the Lord to Brazil to work with street children. When they arrived, their work began in a tiny apartment off the side of a small orphanage. There are now more than thirteen ministries utilizing more than one hundred YWAM workers. Children are taken from lives of sniffing glue in abject poverty to lives of fulfillment as Christian workers. The experiences of the street children are horrific. The corruption in the local government is astounding. This book has some extremely graphic scenes in it. It is a worthwhile read FOR ADULTS.
