The Garden, the Curtain, and the Cross
Title: The Garden, the Curtain, and the Cross
Author: Carl Laferton
Illustrator: Catalina Echeverri
I’ve never seen a children’s book like this one! It starts at Creation and clearly explains how sin entered the world. Then comes the part that sets this book apart from others. It does not go straight to Jesus’s life, death and resurrection. Instead, it highlights the tabernacle and the part it played in the journey for redemption. As it highlights redemption, it brings in Jesus’s death and resurrection. As it highlights the resurrection, it talks about how the curtain in the tabernacle tore, and what that means for us today. An informative and encouraging book! I would highly recommend it. It’s also part of a Tales that Tell the Truth series.
